Congratulations to our 2024-2025 Family History Contest Winners.

Each winner will receive a certificate, cash prize, and a one-year family membership to St. Cloud Area Genealogists.

Lucy Sjostrom 1st place 4th to 6th grade: Lucy is a 6th grader at Sauk Centre Secondary Public School in Ms. Senger's class. Lucy chose her interview her grandmother for the writing contest, sharing her grandmother's experiences entering cows in the Minnesota State Fair and comparing grandmother's experiences to her personal experiences entering cows.

Rosabella Warnke 2nd place 4th to 6th grade: Rosabella is a 6th grader at Pierz Pioneer Elementary School in Miss Sadlovsky's class. Rosabella chose to interview a distant cousin's spouse for the writing contest. The cousin shared her memories of growing up in rural Minnesota, many of which the cousin enjoyed.

Ellie Donnay 1st place 10th to 12th grade: Ellie is a 12th grader who is homeschooled by Erin Donnay, near Kimball, Minnesota. Ellie interviewed her paternal grandmother, who shared memories of her life growing up in rural Minnesota, life on a family farm and the many chores shared by the family.
